Codex - Bismuth-laced Ceremonial Basin
- This item for catalog comes to us from the distant isle of Solstice. Made, perhaps, to collect fresh rainwater? But the choice of materials and the worked wave markings suggest ceremonial importance of some kind.
- Notes attached to the find indicates it was buried in the sand along a beach. Why would one need to bring fresh water to the ocean? What a curious ritual.
- The warmth of the tides sits well upon the scales. But salt is terrible for the eyes. Celebrants plunge their face within the basin and gaze deep, seeing what the tides seek to show them without the sting.
